Random stuff that inspires me!

I came across the Holstee manifesto while I was looking for some unconventional stuff that could inspire me ...keep me moving during my long rounds in CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education). I was motivated mainly by the story of their designers. These two fellows came out with this great idea! They were jobless and still found this creative and motivational visual way to stay connected with the world. They did appreciate the beauty of "life is simple" and "getting lost often" ... They just only had to ride their bikes and value life through a new lens. This is the real magic! Be real, be connected with life, and embrace the unknown blessings before they come to you.
I want to share with you, a story from Hinduism... There was this Hindu who saw a scorpion floundering around in the water. He decided to save it by stretching out his finger, but the scorpion hurt him. The man still tried to get the scorpion out of the water, but the scorpion hurt him again. A man nearby told him to stop saving the scorpion that kept stinging/hurting him. But the Hindu said: "It is the nature of the scorpion to sting. It is my nature to love. Why should I give up my nature to love just because it is the nature of the scorpion to sting/to hurt?" In Mark, we find: “He [Jesus] had compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a Shepperd; and he began to teach them many things…” Jesus experienced compassion for the crowd who came to his encounter. That compassion is part of his nature. Jesus exemplified all of the Father’s attributes, including his compassion.
